The University of Connecticut Pediatric Residency Program is designed to prepare residents to provide comprehensive, coordinated care to a wide range of pediatric patients. The Connecticut Children’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee is comprised of residents, fellows, attending faculty and hospital team members who are focused on expanding the diversity and inclusion within the Pediatric Residency Program to include participants from groups underrepresented in medicine (URM), and to become more representative of the populations we serve. The curriculum coincides with clinical placements, which can be arranged for Connecticut Children’s nurses.
